Saving Chicks from the Flood

Louvelina is a 42-year old woman from Oriental Mindoro (Philippines) who raises chickens in her backyard. Less than a week after she acquired her solar lamp, a heavy downpour generated a flash flood in her area. Such floods are a relatively common occurrence during the monsoon season, and when they happen at night, Louvelina wakes up the following morning to find that the powerful flood-waters have carried away all her belongings: her buckets, washbasins, and even her chicks and baby chickens. However, this time around, she was able to use the bright light of her solar lamp to find and retrieve all her belongings and her chicks before they disappeared in the floodwaters. She is delighted because having her solar lamp makes her feel more prepared for such unexpected events.
